Dear Crazy8s Community,
To mark our 16th birthday, we have officially kicked off our 2015 fundraising campaign so that we can continue helping filmmakers make the best possible film they can through Crazy8s!
Raised funds go toward the general operating costs of running Crazy8s, including everything from insurance, equipment costs, publicity and advertising to venue rentals to part of the funds that go to each team.
Donating to Crazy8s means that you will be contributing to a reputable non-profit society and to the cultural landscape of Vancouver and BC.
How to contribute?
Meet and mingle with Crazy8s alumni, our extended community of friends and sponsors, and this year's winners, and of course watch some of the best films made over Crazy8s' 16 Year history (film titles TBA).
Where: RIO Theatre, 1660 East Broadway at Commercial Drive
When: Thursday, January 29th
Screening 8:00pm followed by a Q&A with the filmmakers and after party. We will also introduce the 2015 Crazy8s filmmakers.
How: Tickets $8 in advance on sale soon at https://riotheatretickets.ca/ or pay-what-you-can on a $10-$16 sliding scale at the door.

We are currently looking for $2,015 in support.
The Highest Donor will get a one night stay at the Sandman Hotel in downtown with a minimum donation of $100. If a tie, a name will be drawn.
Everyone who donates over $25 will have their name thanked in the Feb 28 Gala program (1,500 copies) and if you donate $100 or more, your name will be projected on screen at the Gala Screening.
